Further information on water main works likely to cause traffic disruption in Shifnal

   

The Town Council received a message from contractors working on behalf of Severn Trent Water, giving notification of the planned water main works, which are due to commence the beginning of April 2021. They plan to undertake this work under four phases in and around Shifnal TF11.

Below are the approximate dates, location and traffic management for this work:

• Phase 1, due to start 6 April 2021 for approximately one week,  road closure in place – (Park Lane)
• Phase 2, due to start 12 April 2021 for approximately three weeks, three-way traffic lights – (Junction of Wolverhampton Road & Park Lane)
• Phase 3, due to start 26 April 2021 for approximately four weeks, two-way traffic lights – ( Bridgnorth Road [A416])
• Phase 4, due to start 17 May 2021 for approximately two weeks, three-way traffic lights- (Wolverhampton A464)
