Extension to section 19 consultation

Shropshire Council had published the Regulation 19: pre-submission draft of the Shropshire Local Plan and its supporting documents to invite representations from all parties on compliance with all legal requirements, including the duty to co-operate, and soundness. Representations previously had to be made by 5pm on Friday 5 February 2021.

However I’m pleased to report that the final stage of public consultation over Shropshire Council’s local plan review WILL be extended after all. The lead of Shropshire Council, Peter Nutting has confirmed a 3 week extension on the Feb 5 closing date. It will now go before the full council in July.
