It is important for Shifnal South and Cosford that our area receives sufficient funding for local services and infrastructure. Sensible collaboration between the Parish, Town and County Councils is surely the best way to ensure that we residents receive the best available services while getting value for money.
I believe that as part of a majority conservative county council that I will be able to influence policy in favour of our ward. I have already met with several councillors, independent and conservative from Tong, Shifnal, Wrekin and Shrewsbury and will continue to develop good working relationships for the benefit of Shifnal and Cosford.
As a fellow resident, your issues are my issues. Protecting and enhancing our area and services will be my top priority. New housing is inevitable in the current climate, however I am determined that any new developments are proportionate, fair and are not detrimental to existing residents.
I do hope I can count on your support on 5th July.
