Many residents have complained about anti-social behaviour in Shifnal: in the church grounds, memorial garden, railway station and parks. Shifnal, Cosford, Albrighton and surrounding villages is policed by the West Mercia police force. Currently there are four police officers covering this large patch. Most of the crime recorded is committed in Shifnal (see crime map ). The budget for West Mercia is set by the Police and Crime Commissioner Role of the PCC. I will be lobbying the Conservative PCC, John Campion to increase funding allocations to our ward in line with its recent expansion. I believe that being part of a Conservative majority in Wrekin and Shropshire will be advantageous to Shifnal, Cosford and Albrighton.
